Despite being financed by public funds, the details of the contract have been kept hidden from the public eye. This has led to speculation that there may be something damning about the government's actions that they do not want to be exposed. Quite understandably, the lack of transparency in this matter has fueled suspicions and created a sense of mistrust among citizens.
