"Utaona Maajabu!" — The Deep, Dark Reason Why Abductions in Kenya Won't End Anytime Soon

Let’s be honest: everybody thought the notorious kuteka watu nyara squads would disappear after that dramatic dashcam footage of the Standard Newspaper journalist leaked online. The rogue boys were caught on camera, fully exposed. Common sense dictated that the state would shut down the operation immediately due to the massive public outrage. But common sense does not apply here. I prematurely called it kwisha maneno on my channel, and today, I am coming forward to admit my mistake. The abductions are still happening because they literally cannot stop.

To understand why, we have to look at how these things play out historically. Think about how former Sudanese dictator Al-Bashir built a specialized squad that eventually grew so powerful it threatened the entire country. Once you unleash a monster to do your dirty work, putting it back in the cage becomes a national security crisis.

In the first part of this eye-opening new series, I am breaking down the terrifying reality behind Kenya's current political climate in a way everyone can understand:

  • It’s a "Going Concern": You can't just fold up a heavily funded, active unit overnight. There are salaries, unspoken contracts, and dangerous loose ends.
  • Armed and Desperate: These guys know how to use firearms and they know exactly where the bodies are buried. Disarming them makes them a massive liability to their political masters.
  • Why so angry? Survivors have pointed out that the hooded abductors always seem deeply, personally angry during interrogations. We expose what is driving that psychological rage.
  • The Mtu Wetu Shield: Why this entire rogue unit is heavily anchored on fierce tribal loyalties and protection, making it almost impossible for the regime to dismantle it without destroying its own foundation.
The truth is, this regime has no other cards left to play. This entire situation is a historic blunder that has already derailed the 2027 dream for the current administration.
