Why the "revolution" in Senegal will also happen in Kenya Why are there so many uncanny similarities just now between Kenya politics and Senegalese politics? Ousmane Sonko, a well-known rebel leader in this West African country, has also been through a lot to fight for the people for a long time. For the same reason, Raila Odinga is a lot like that guy right here in Kenya. Sonko was not allowed to run for president in the most recent election because the West has worked hard to stop him. He did, however, back Bassirou Diomaye Faye, who was in his own political party. That was enough for Faye to rise to power. Also, if polls were held today, all Raila would have to do is give Edwin Sifuna a nod and the ODM secretary general would easily win the presidency.
